John has worked in client facing Financial Services since 1993 when he started working for a major High Street Bank as a trainee Financial Adviser. Since then he has developed a broad and thorough knowledge of the Mortgage Market and the Financial Services industry as a whole. John believes in an open and honest approach to providing advice to all of his clients and his high standard of ethics has ensured that he has many clients who are always happy to recommend his services.​

He is Financial Planning Certificate (FPC), Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMaP) and Certificate in Regulated Equity Release (CeRER) qualified, is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and The London Institute of Banking & Finance.​
​
Away from the office John enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two adult children, trainee son-in-law and grandson. He has a passion for Sailing and being born and bred in Brightlingsea when not in his office will usually be found on his boat or somewhere near the water! When not on the water he will happily talk boats with anyone for hours!
Annette came to work alongside her husband John over 20 years ago, purely in an administrative capacity at first, but over the years she has become integral to the smooth functioning of the business. ​She now attends to all of the finances in the business alongside overseeing John's case administration and diary.

Outside of office hours, she enjoys an evening out at the Theatre, day trips to National Trust properties, sunny beach holidays in Crete and of course sailing around Essex with John (there's a surprise!). Not forgetting spending as much time as possible with her adored grandson!

Emily is the latest addition to the team, she has a background in arts marketing with 9 years of experience, but decided to change paths after having her little boy in 2022.

She works part-time and does all things Marketing, including web design and social media.
​
In her free time you can often find her in the garden or reading a good book, that is if she's not running around after her 'spirited' toddler!
